What’s Pépouze?

In the South of France, "pépouze" means taking your time, slowing down, and savoring moments in tranquility.

To embrace this mindset, we bought a house in the heart of a small village in Languedoc, and in May we left Sweden to settle in Paulhan.

We opened here a wine shop along with a guest room for B&B where we offer personalized themed stays in a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere with wine as the main character.

Caviste Pépouze

On the ground floor of the house is the wine shop where bottles of wine are sold to take home or drink on site.

In a stone-lined room, where olives were pressed into olive oil in the 19th century, wine is now sold, which is produced artisanally by winemakers with the greatest respect for origin and nature.

Wine from the area, Languedoc Roussillon above all, but also from other parts of France.

The shop is open Wednesday to Saturday

Bed & Breakfast and wine trips

The guest room is also on the ground floor with a window overlooking a charming sunny square. The breakfast made with local products will be brought to you every morning.

This B&B is available year-round. In summer we offer ,on the first hand, private three-night stays with wine tastings and personalized outings. But you can also book the room as a regular bed&breakfast.

Come enjoy the peace and quiet of our home, and the surrounding Languedoc region.
